Cultivating Growth: The One Farmvest Odoo Story

At Tama & Tawi Solutions, we're dedicated to helping businesses overcome operational challenges and optimize how they run. Recently, we've been working with One Farmvest, a fresh produce farming and distribution company sourcing directly from partner-farmers in Benguet and across the Cordilleras and Luzon, and connecting them to retailers, restaurants, hotels, and exporters, providing them with a comprehensive Odoo implementation.

The Challenge

With perishable stock moving through every stage of the business — from seedling and vegetable cultivation to farmer sourcing and distribution — One Farmvest's primary concern was inventory management and loss tracking. Without accurate visibility into stock levels and where losses were occurring, decision-making around purchasing, pricing, and delivery was difficult to get right.

Our Approach

To address this, our engagement focused on a Phase 1 rollout covering the core of the business:

  1. Sales — managing orders from retailers, restaurants, hotels, and exporters, alongside direct sales of seedlings and harvested produce.

  2. Purchase — formalizing how produce is sourced from the partner-farmer network.

  3. Inventory — tracking fast-moving, perishable stock from intake to delivery.

  4. Manufacturing — supporting post-harvest processing and packing.

  5. Accounting — tying sales, purchases, and inventory into one financial picture.

  6. Custom Agriculture Module — developed specifically for One Farmvest to manage seedling production and lowland fruit-bearing vegetable cultivation, from growth cycle through to harvest.

Progress and Results

Phase 1 is now live. One Farmvest's team has a connected, real-time view of stock levels, movement, and loss patterns — the visibility needed to turn inventory management from a reactive process into a proactive one. The system has also helped One Farmvest professionalize the way they communicate with their customers, from order confirmations to invoicing, giving buyers a more consistent and reliable experience.

Next Steps

With the foundation in place, the next phase will introduce Barcoding for tighter traceability from farm to buyer, and HR with a customized Philippine Payroll setup built around local compliance requirements as the team scales.

Looking Forward

One Farmvest is also working toward greener sourcing, including the introduction of electric trucks into its delivery operations — a goal made stronger by an operation that now knows exactly what it's moving, and why.
